Crunching nuggets

There are a few similarities between England and Brasil. Both teams lost in the World Cup last week. Both teams had high expectations. Both teams played poorly. Both teams had to return to thier home countries ashamed and disapointed…that is where the similarities stop.
Here is how the two teams reacted differently to the loss:

Brasil: Word on the street is that there are many Portuguese flags hanging in Brasil this week. Portugal is the closest thing Brasil has now to a home team. Important leaders have been quoted as saying “on Wednesday, I will be Portuguese”. They do not want the French to win, so they cheer for another team.

England: There is no cheering for anybody. Rather, there are repeated clips being played over the Tele showing Cristiano Ronaldo winking at his bench after Rooney (His Manchester United teamate in England) recieved the infamous red card that told his team its destiny. There has even been talk of selling Ronaldo to a club outside of England because of their newfound hatred for him. They blame him for the red card, saying that his petition to the ref is what brought it about. Puh-leez. What a bunch of sissy loosers. Rooney has been quoted as saying that “I’m going to split him in two” the next time he sees him. He’s also said that he wants to crush his skull. What a sissy looser baby. Here’s the thing, Rooney crunched another players nuggets while he was on the ground…red card…england looses…you can beat up whoever you want, but you lost…you lost just like you have for the last five important tournaments…sissy english looser face.

  1. Since I am not too much interest in sports and order papers online that’s why I have missed the England, Brazil match. But yes you are right I also have heard that the match was not too much excited. It was just an ordinary match and unfortunately, both team players’ performance was not up to the mark.
