Lent starts on Wednesday (Ash Wednesday). Are you fasting from anything? In an effort to be very holy I’m fasting from water…for 40 days…not really. Seriously, Lent is much different than a worthless attempt at being holy. Lent is so much bigger than that. As someone said at Renovatus on Sunday, Lent is all about preparation for Easter, preparation for the resurrected JC.

hahah what a sacrifice arwen. I'm glad you bring up ash wednesday but you forgot fat tuesday which I celebrated. My wife grew up catholic so she has a different view of it than i do but I like it alot.

Actually I have decided and actually stuck with giving up sweets. But lucky for me I found out that Starbucks is exempt from participating in any sort of Lentl fast.
